The Institute was founded by Timothy Vermillion, DSW, MS, Ed.M, LCSW, BCD, a doctoral-level clinician, EMDR trainer and consultant, and U.S. Army veteran with more than two decades of service to service members, veterans, and their families. The work here is shaped by long experience in military, VA, and civilian settings, and by a practical belief that effective care should be both rigorous and humane.
