Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Depression, Anxiety & Insomnia

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) explores thoughts and behaviors and how to intervene in them to change our experience and understanding of ourselves, other people and the world.  The base of CBT is generally the same and material is added that is specific to the issue being treated.  Dr. Vermillion provides CBT for depression, anxiety and insomnia.  Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a form of CBT for PTSD.  Click here for more information specific to CPT.

Virtual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Online therapy has grown considerably since COVID19.  With the growth in these virtual therapies came more research.  Online therapy has been shown to be effective and the flexibility it offers has allowed people who are too busy or too isolated to participate and benefit from therapy.  Needless to say, online therapy is here to stay.
